St. Jacques
The rich, dark soil that graces the Cibao Valley in the northern Dominican Republic is home to some of the finest tobacco grown in the world today. The ultra-premium St. Jacques Cigars are carefully blended and rolled with only the finest of this Dominican tobacco. What makes these cigars even more exclusive is the unique method developed by the St. Jacques craftsmen for aging these cigars in the Valais Canton of Switzerland. In order to allow the natural woody aromas to blossom to their fullest, all the St. Jacques cigars are aged for a minimum of 5 years in wooden "Deborance" barrels. These barrels are made from the rare Derborence wood from the Valley of the Diablerets and have been used in the area for aging wine and spirits for hundreds of years. The St. Jacques craftsmen have adapted these techniques for aging their cigars. This carefully monitored process results in a mature, aromatic and full bodied cigar. A combination of the finest tobacco in the world and the masterful craftsman ship and Swiss savoir faire, lend opulence and rich aromas to each cigar of the St. Jacques.
